1. Your Agreement With Zugo
By downloading, opening, or using Zugo, you agree to follow this User Agreement. If you do not agree, please stop using the App and remove it from your device.
This document is written for users of the Zugo mobile application. It is intentionally titled a User Agreement because it focuses on the relationship between you and the App: your creative content, local projects, in-app controls, purchases, safety, and privacy expectations.
If local law gives you consumer, privacy, accessibility, app marketplace, refund, cancellation, or digital-content rights that cannot be waived, those rights continue to apply.
2. What Zugo Does
Zugo lets you import photos, turn them into animated visual objects, place or adjust portals, design motion loops, preview replays, and export selected covers or short videos when supported by the App.

Local-first designProjects and processed textures are stored on your device unless a feature clearly asks to export or save.
3. Eligibility and Responsible Use
You may use Zugo only if you can lawfully enter into this Agreement in your location. If you are under the age required to consent to app use or digital purchases where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Zugo is not directed to children under 13. Do not use Zugo to collect, publish, or share personal information of children without appropriate legal authority and consent.
4. Your Photos and Projects
You keep ownership of photos, project names, portal layouts, replay covers, and videos that you create in Zugo. You give Zugo permission to process content on your device only as needed to provide App features, such as generating thumbnails, textures, project files, covers, and exports.
- You are responsible for the photos you import and any output you save or share outside the App.
- You should import only content you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to process.
- Deleting the App may delete local project data, imported image copies, processed textures, settings, and cached exports.
- Exports saved to your system Photos library are managed by your device and operating system after export.
5. Creative Conduct Rules
Zugo is a creative tool, but it must not be used in ways that harm others or violate applicable law. You agree not to use Zugo to create, store, export, or distribute content that:
- infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights of another person or organization;
- contains non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, or sexual content involving minors;
- targets people with harassment, threats, doxxing, hate, or unlawful discrimination;
- impersonates another person in a misleading or harmful way;
- contains malware, attempts to bypass device security, or interferes with App operation;
- violates export controls, sanctions, consumer protection law, or other laws that apply to you.
6. Coins, Paid Items, and In-App Purchases
Zugo may offer coins, portal skins, visual packs, scene styles, or other digital items. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or another authorized app marketplace, not directly by Zugo.
- Digital items may be limited to the App, your device, your Apple account, or the supported version of Zugo.
- Coins and digital items have no cash value, are not legal currency, and may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged outside the App unless Zugo expressly allows it.
- Refunds, chargebacks, taxes, family approvals, and payment disputes are handled through the app marketplace payment flow and applicable law.
- If a purchase is pending, interrupted, unavailable, or reversed, Zugo may delay, withhold, adjust, or remove the related digital balance or item.
7. Motion, Comfort, and Device Safety
Zugo can display fast movement, portal flashes, camera shifts, glow effects, replay motion, and first-person visual modes. Some users may experience discomfort, eye strain, dizziness, motion sensitivity, or other reactions.
Use the App in a safe environment. Take breaks, reduce motion blur, reduce camera shake, lower motion strength, or disable first-person auto-follow if the experience feels uncomfortable. Stop using the App if symptoms continue.
8. App Availability and Changes
Zugo may change as features are added, refined, removed, renamed, or adjusted for performance, safety, legal, marketplace, or compatibility reasons. Planned features such as advanced skins, additional export tools, cloud sync, or expanded editing may not be available in every version or region.
The App may rely on device hardware, operating-system permissions, local storage, Photos access, graphics performance, Apple purchase systems, and other platform features. Some functions may be unavailable if those components are disabled, denied, outdated, or unsupported.
9. Zugo Materials and Intellectual Property
Zugo and its visual systems, interface, portal designs, code, icons, generated placeholder art, sample project structure, brand elements, and documentation are owned by Zugo or its licensors. You may use those materials only inside the App as intended.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify, resell, sublicense, scrape, abuse, or redistribute the App or its protected materials except where allowed by applicable law.
10. Privacy and Permissions
Zugo's privacy practices are explained in the Zugo Privacy Agreement. Photo Library access is used to let you select source images and save chosen covers or replay videos. Optional anonymous usage events may be controlled in Settings when available.
Zugo does not require photo uploads for the core local workflow. You should still avoid importing images that you are not legally allowed to use or that expose sensitive information about others without permission.
11. Legal Rights, Disclaimers, and Liability
Zugo is provided for creative, personal, and lawful use. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the App is provided as available and without promises that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or fit for every individual purpose.
Nothing in this Agreement limits rights that cannot be limited under laws that apply to you, including consumer guarantees in Australia, privacy rights in California, Canada, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or similar legal protections in other regions.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Zugo is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the App, your local files, your exports, your shared content, device settings, or third-party platforms. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Suspension, Updates, and Ending Use
Zugo may restrict access to features if required to protect the App, comply with law, respond to marketplace requirements, address security issues, or prevent misuse. You may stop using Zugo at any time by deleting the App from your device.
If this Agreement changes materially, the updated version will identify a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Agreement, unless local law requires a different method of consent.
