1. Privacy Overview
Zugo is designed as a local-first creative app. You choose photos from your device, transform them into portal-loop visuals, and save or export selected outputs when you decide to do so.
We aim to collect only what is reasonably needed for App functionality, support, safety, purchase delivery, analytics that you allow, and legal compliance. Zugo does not require uploading your original photos to use the core photo playground.
2. Scope and Controller
This Privacy Agreement applies to the Zugo mobile application, including Play, Album, Portal Lab, Replay, Settings, in-app purchase flows, local project files, and support communications.
For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact Zugo at zugocyl@163.com. Where required by law, Zugo acts as the organization, business, controller, or APP entity responsible for the personal information it controls.
3. Personal Information We May Handle
The exact information depends on how you use Zugo, your device settings, your permissions, and the features available in your region.

4. How We Use Personal Information
5. Photos, Camera Roll, and Device Permissions
Zugo may request Photo Library read access so you can select source images. Zugo may request add-only or write access so you can save replay covers or short videos to your system Photos library. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
- Read access: used to select images that become photo cards, cubes, or energy-style objects.
- Write access: used to save outputs you choose, such as covers or replay videos.
- Limited access: if your operating system offers limited photo access, Zugo should only see the items you make available.
- No permission: some features may be unavailable until permission is granted, but Settings and existing local content may still function where supported.
7. Retention and Deletion
Local project data, imported image copies, processed textures, settings, and caches are generally kept on your device until you delete them, clear unused cache, reset a project, or uninstall the App. Exports saved to your Photos library remain there until you delete them through your device.
Support emails and purchase-related records may be kept as long as reasonably needed for support, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations, and legitimate business records.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information based on its sensitivity and the nature of the App. Because Zugo is local-first, your device security, passcode, iCloud or device backup settings, operating-system updates, and app permissions also matter.
No method of storage, transmission, diagnostics, or marketplace processing is perfectly secure. If we learn of a data incident that requires notice under applicable law, we will provide notice as required.
9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, opt-out of sale or sharing, limitation of sensitive personal information, and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
- You can manage Photos permission through iOS Settings.
- You can disable optional anonymous usage events in Zugo Settings where that control is available.
- You can delete local projects, remove imported photos, trim unused local assets, reset demo content, or uninstall the App.
- You can contact zugocyl@163.com to make a privacy request or complaint.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some requests may be limited by law, security, fraud prevention, marketplace records, or information we do not control because it remains only on your device.
10. Regional Privacy Notices
California and Other U.S. State Privacy Laws
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive personal information uses, and avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights. Zugo does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If Global Privacy Control or a similar legally required signal applies to a Zugo web feature, we will honor it as required.
Canada
Canadian users may have rights to understand the purposes of collection, give or withdraw consent where applicable, access personal information, challenge accuracy, request correction, and challenge compliance. We aim to use personal information only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances.
Singapore
Singapore users may have rights to be informed of purposes, withdraw consent with reasonable notice, request access to personal data, request correction, and expect reasonable protection, retention, transfer, and breach-notification practices where applicable.
Australia
Australian users may have rights under the Australian Privacy Principles, including transparent privacy information, access to personal information, correction of inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading information, and complaint handling. Nothing in this Privacy Agreement limits non-excludable rights under Australian law.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal bases for processing may include consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and protection of rights or safety. You may have rights to be informed, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and rights relating to automated decision-making.
International Transfers
Zugo may be operated, supported, or processed from countries other than where you live. When personal information is transferred internationally, we use safeguards required by applicable law, such as contractual, organizational, marketplace, or technical protections.
11. Children and Minors
Zugo is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Zugo, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
If you are a minor in your location, use Zugo only with any required permission from a parent or legal guardian, especially before making purchases or exporting content that includes other people.
12. Automated Decisions and Analytics
Zugo does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. The App may use local settings and device performance information to adjust visual quality, motion, and rendering behavior.
Optional analytics, if enabled, are intended to understand App reliability and feature use. They should not include original photos, thumbnails, or identifiable photo content.
13. Changes to This Privacy Agreement
We may update this Privacy Agreement as Zugo features, laws, marketplace requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will show a new effective date. If required by law, we will request consent or provide additional notice.

Please include your request type, the country or region where you use Zugo, and enough information for us to understand and verify the request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
